There was a really good one in Germany a couple of months ago. The "bend" was actually a T-junction and the guy approached at speed and just went straight on. The BMW hit the slope of the kerb on the opposite side of the road and took off. It landed lodged in the roof of the church standing about 30 or 40 yards back from the junction! Apparently, a more…

I've been to a few jobs where the tree has also been knocked over...as the result of high speed. Not a great big oak tree but a fairly sizable tree nontheless. And all died.
Trees win hands down...all the time...unless its a twig of a tree! more…

It was a sad case really. Apparently his wife had died some years previously. He had stopped cleaning, stopped eating and eventually stopped moving out of his chair.
He had completely given up. It was obviously his right to live how he wanted but I think it is sad that he had been left like that more…

Thank you for doing a job that needs to be done. As an alcoholic of sorts, I promise not to inflict anything that awful on anyone, ever. My wife has my permission to tip me off a cliff if I get even half that bad. People shouldn't be alone in life, obviously. more…

I was on the receiving end of an airhorn, about a million years ago, when I was a student.
I was strolling up towards college, early evening, still daylight, past the closed shops.
Suddenly all Hell broke out directly behind me. I'm only five feet tall, but I swear I must have done a vertical take-off of about seven feet. more…
